You may have noticed the "No proxy used" - button next to your profile(s):
If you click on it, you can set up a Proxy which will run for this profile.
A Proxy will hide your real IP Address and uses a different one instead. This is really useful in terms of security, because we can make sure that our botting characters are not using the same IP Address as your original main character(s). In short: Proxies can prevent possible chain-bans.
Important: - Proxies >>>MUST<<< support HTTPS and IPv4 as the game requires a secure connection!
- Never use free proxies! If someone else using the same free Proxy will get caught and banned, your account(s) will get chain-banned as well!
-It is recommended to create the Account(s) you want to bot with using the same Proxy! Otherwise the IP Address at time of Account creation would be different(most likely your real one) instead of the IP Address of your Proxy!
- Proxies are for advanced users only! We are not providing basic support on how to use them. Google is your best friend :)
Recommended Proxy Usage:
- We don't recommend a specific proxy provider anymore, as everyone should use your their personal preferred provider instead, so just use google to search for a Website selling proxies(IPv4 & https!). By doing so, it is wise to avoid the first 5-10 pages in Google in order to prevent getting an IP that is already banned on Universe. - Another thing to note: You should search for residential proxies instead of datacenter proxies, as residential ones are typically more genuine and considered as real user connections. Datacenter proxies are not associated with a physical location or internet service provider and are mostly generated by server farms. You want to avoid those, because they can be easier to recognize by Universe.
It's wise to use the same Proxy on one pair of characters.
- One "pair" consists of 2 characters (LevelBot and HealBot), where both characters are being at the same spot, obviously leveling/supporting together.
Since it's easily to recognize those character belong to the same person, staff would surely punish both of them if it ever comes to it. This is why you don't need them to have different IPs/Proxies. They should share the same one. - As for other characters or pairs, we recommend you to use a different Proxy, so that seperated characters/pairs have seperated proxies as well.
- Quick Setup Steps:
Step 1) - Purchase Proxy
Purchase your Proxy from a provider of your choice. Use google! But make sure it supports HTTPS and IPv4 (NOT IPv6!!!) and you are buying residential proxies instead of datacenter proxies!
Once you have purchased your proxie(s), it should show you their details somewhere, similar to this:
Step 2) - Create a Flyff Universe Account for botting (DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP)
Even though that this step is optional, we recommend to create a new Account for botting that uses the Proxy from the beginning. This way, it never has logged into your personal real IP Address, which can prevent a chain-ban on your main account(s). Better don't skip this step!
We will use Firefox on this example.
First of all, make sure to log out your current logged in character/account on https://universe.flyff.com/play inside your Browser(Firefox in this example).
Now install and add the FoxyProxy Addon to Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxyproxy-standard/):
Open the FoxyProxy Extension settings:
Click on Add:
Keep the Proxy Type to "HTTP"(even though that we bought HTTPS) and enter the credentials you got from your proxy provider after purchasing. After that, hit Save:
Enable "Synchronize Settings":
Turn on the Proxy:
You can check if the Proxy is running successfully by visiting this site: https://getfoxyproxy.org/geoip/ Turn off/on the Proxy and check your IP again to confirm.
Now we can finally create our new Account on Flyff Universe: https://universe.flyff.com/user/login
Create the account from scratch and NOT using Google/Facebook/Apple, etc:
We did it! We now got a fresh account which is registered with the IP Address of our Proxy. Do not log into the game with that account now!
Important: Turn off the Proxy in your Firefox now to make sure that you never login with the Proxy IP to your main account(s):
At last, head to Step 3) and don't login in your new Account before completing Step 3)! Otherwise your real IP Address would be used.
Step 3) - Add Proxy to PoryBot-Z Profile
Create a new Profile or use one or more existing Profiles to add your Proxy to. Click "No Proxy used":
Simply enter your Credentials you got from your provider on Step 1) and activate it by clicking on "Enable Proxy Connection":
The Proxy should now be active for the profile(s):
You can now start those to see if it works.
If you connect successfully, the Proxy is working like intended.

Enable this Feature if you encounter an Error on Captchas, just like this one:
There can also be other similar Error messages or issues you are encountering with Captchas. This can occur if your Proxy IP is blacklisted from/by Google, or if it does not load for other reasons.
By bypassing the Google Traffic, PoryBot-Z will route all Google(ReCaptcha) traffic through your original/regular ISP connection and not through the Proxy tunnel. That way you can still use the Proxy without Captcha related issues.

Certain residential proxy providers have a data limit / cost per GB of data, which can drastically increase just by downloading game assets. To prevent higher costs, we recommend to enable this Feature.
With this option, all game asset downloads will not be tunnelled through the proxy. This will not only save alot of proxy generated traffic, but even results in saving money.
