## - Information

Thank you for choosing <mark style="color:blue;">**PoryBot-U**</mark> - The 4th Generation! <mark style="color:red;">♥</mark>

The following Tutorial will guide you through the Instructions and Setup of PoryBot.

It is <mark style="color:red;">highly necessary</mark> to understand how the bot works and how to use it, otherwise you might run into unexpected issues caused by yourself.

You can find your <mark style="color:red;">**Serial Key in the E-Mail you received from Payhip**</mark>. You will need it to be able to use PoryBot-U!

Please make sure to use PoryBot on <mark style="color:red;">**your final device**</mark>! Once entered your serial, your License will be <mark style="color:red;">**locked and bound to your device**</mark> and **cannot be used on other devices and not be transferred in any way.**

There is the possibility to go AFK while botting, **however we don't recommend to do so**. There is always <mark style="color:red;">**a risk being watched by a Mod/GM**</mark> where you have to respond!

The <mark style="color:red;">**language in the game MUST be ENGLISH**</mark>, **otherwise PoryBot-U won't work properly!** English language comes by default, so please make sure to not change it.

In order to get access to the Patchlogs and community channels, you need to <mark style="color:orange;">own a valid license and send the license key to</mark> <mark style="color:orange;"></mark><mark style="color:orange;">**\[BOT]AI-James.**</mark>

Once you have joined our [Discord Server](https://discord.com/invite/FwVBxJE3PN), check the Member list and message <mark style="color:red;">**\[BOT]AI-James!**</mark>

<mark style="color:$success;">Simply</mark> <mark style="color:$danger;">**send him your valid license key**</mark> <mark style="color:$success;">and the Bot will grant you access to the hidden channels!</mark>

If Discord tells you that you message could not get delivered, ensure you:

* have joined the Discord Server
* enabled direct messages for the Discord Server

So please verify using your **final
&#x20;Discord Account**.\
\
We recommend to use a Discord Account which is not in any relation to Flyff Universe and their Discord Serve&#x72;*(or any other related Discord Server).*

## - Setup and Installation

First of all, we <mark style="color:red;">highly</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">**recommend**</mark> you to join our [Discord Server](https://discord.com/invite/ZmHzyM9) and get **access to hidden channels.** To do so, check out out [Hidden Channels Access](/home/hidden-channels-access.md) page.\
\&#xNAN;*You can find your license key inside the launcher at the bottom left corner and in the Email you got from Payhip after purchasing.* \
\
\&#xNAN;***Our hidden channels provide a Ticket System for support, latest News, Patchlogs and more!***

* Now download and install PoryBot using the [**Download Link**](https://flyffbot.net/dl/Download_PoryBotU.html) **mentioned above.**
* When downloading using Google Chrome, you may need to **enable "no protection"** to be able to download the Installer(may be similar steps on other Browsers):

* Click on "**Keep**" if it asks you to keep the Installer. (Please note: PoryBot **is not harmful** for you or your System in any way):

* You can now **run the installer** and click through(pretty self explaining):

* **The Installer of PoryBot-U will automatically install&#x20;**<mark style="color:red;">**required runtimes**</mark>**. Otherwise PoryBot might not work.**&#x20;

<mark style="color:red;">**If it did not install required runtimes, you can install those manually instead:**</mark>

* Download the .rar file from here: <https://flyffbot.net/Visual-C-Runtimes-All-in-One-May-2021.rar>
* **Extract the content** of the "Visual-C-Runtimes-All-in-One-May-2021.rar" anywhere **using Winrar or 7zip**:

* Open the recently extracted folder and rightlick on "**install\_all.bat**" and choose "**Run as administrator**":

Wait until it's done. The console window will **automatically close!**

<mark style="color:red;">**Note:**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">It is</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">**highly recommended**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">to</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">**uninstall third party Antivirus**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">you may have installed, such as Norton, Malwarebytes, Avira, etc. Otherwise unexpected misbehavior can occur! Such third party Antivirs often block specific functionality of PoryBot-U, even if you have added an exception.</mark>

Make sure to **exclude the entire folder** where PoryBot is installed to from your Windows Defender:

* Open Windows Start menu and click on "**Settings**"
* Now click on **"Update & Security":**

* Navigate to "**Windows Security**". From there, click on "**Virus & Thread Protection**":

* And then click **"Manage Settings":**

  • Scroll down to "**Exclusions**" and hit "**Add or remove exclusions**":

* Scroll down to "**Exclusions**" and hit "**Add or remove exclusions**":

* Press "**Add an exclusion**" -> Folder. Choose the **directory where PoryBot is installed to:**

* Start the PoryBot Launcher and use your **License Key** if available(buy one here:<https://payhip.com/b/0s6k>):

On your Desktop and **doubleclick** on "**PoryBot-U**" to open the Launcher. You can alternatively go to the installation folder of PoryBot-Z and start the Launcher from there.

* **Wait until it's opened. You will get a Warning message like this(if you dont have an active license running):**

* In order to activate your Key, you must accept our ToS and confirm that **your license will be bound to this device:**

* Enter your license Key now and click "**Activate Key"**:

* If you Key is valid, you'll get a Success message:\

* It should now perform a patch. You can now **copy the license Key** and send it to Mr.P("<mark style="color:purple;">porybot</mark>") on Discord to get access to hidden channels. Please [join our Discord Server ](https://discord.com/invite/FwVBxJE3PN)first!

* Once patching is done, you can hit the Start button. *If you want more information on how to proceed from here, as well as a lot of information about our featues, **simply click on the "Wikipedia"-Button:***
